How our hire works

You can hire audio products from us for as little as 4 days and a maximum of 28 days and we will deliver your technology to your door. When you’re finished with your hired items, you simply post them back via our pre-paid returns system with Collect+ at over 5,000 outlets across the UK. Easy!

Delivery

Place Over Ears will deliver your audio kit at least one working day ahead of your first day of hire, allowing you time to get used to your new equipment. Your hire consignment will require a signature for their delivery to an address of your choice.

Returning your items

You will need to return your hired products the day that follows your last day of hire (even if that day happens to be a Sunday). In your package you’ll find a printed pre-paid returns label from Collect+. If you don’t return your hired items on the ‘Send Back’ day as stated in your order, you may be charged late penalties.

Hire deposits, late fees, and penalties

Place Over Ears requests a small, refundable deposit for every product you rent from us. You can see these amounts in your basket and order, and we do not charge your payment card for these amounts at the time of your order. Learn more about what deposits cover and what they don’t.

Damage and Theft Waiver

If accidental damage and theft of our kit concerns you, you may optionally purchase Place Over Ears’ Damage and Theft Waiver which could protect you against the accidental damage or theft of the headphones.
